Reminders and front desk
Dental SMS Reminders: Confirmations, Google Reviews and Insurance Cards Before the Visit
Fewer no-shows, fewer sticky notes at the front desk. SmileFlow confirms every appointment by text, reminds the patient at the right time, asks for a Google review after the visit and collects the insurance card before the patient sits down.

No-shows and paperwork wear down the front desk
Confirming tomorrow’s appointments by phone means dialing, hitting voicemail, leaving a message and calling back later. For every patient.
A cancellation learned too late can no longer be filled, and happy patients rarely think of leaving a Google review. At the counter, insurance cards are copied by hand.
What SmileFlow sends, and when
Step 1
Confirmation at booking
The patient gets a text and confirms by replying YES.
Step 2
Reminders 7 days, the day before and 2 hours before
The patient replies YES to confirm or CANCEL to free the slot, which is offered to your waitlist right away.
Step 3
Google review request after the visit
A text invites the happy patient to leave a review on the clinic’s Google profile.
Step 4
Insurance card before the visit
The patient photographs or enters their card from their phone; your team validates. No more sticky notes.

Works alongside your PMS, whichever it is
SmileFlow works alongside Progident, Dentitek, ExcelDent, DentoNovo, AD 2000 or any other PMS: no migration, nothing to install on the clinic's server, and it never touches RAMQ billing or CDAnet. Your PMS stays the reference for the schedule, records and billing.

Frequently asked questions
Do the reminders respect CASL and Law 25?
SmileFlow is designed for Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL) and Québec’s Law 25: a patient is only contacted with their consent, every consent is recorded, and a patient can unsubscribe by replying STOP. Data is hosted in Montréal.
What happens when a patient replies CANCEL?
The appointment is cancelled, the patient gets a confirmation, and the slot is offered to your waitlisted patients. The reply shows up in your dashboard so the front desk can update its PMS.
Can the texts go out in English?
Yes. The language of the texts follows your clinic’s setting: English or French.
Does SmileFlow work with my PMS?
Yes, alongside it: Progident, Dentitek, ExcelDent, DentoNovo, AD 2000 or any other PMS. SmileFlow is not plugged into your PMS and does not replace it: nothing to migrate, and your team keeps its software and habits. Appointments to remind are added in SmileFlow in a few clicks, and a slot filled by the waitlist is entered in your PMS.
Which plan includes SMS reminders?
